Openmotif 2.3 in ubuntu

I would like to know where I can get the openmotif libraries (libmotif3 and libmotif-dev packages) using the version 2.3. If it possible for ubuntu systems?

There are no packages for openmotif 2.3 or higher in both Debian and Ubuntu. This also includes Ubuntu Intrepid release for now and Debian Unstable.

But the actual version of this package is 2.3 and not 2.2.
What is the best version to install in Ubuntu that I can found into www.openmotif.org?

Only version 2.2.3 which is the latest version shipped with Debian and so also Ubuntu. Any other version must be done by hand and looking at the bugreports can cause some issues. If there is no need for the latest version which appears to be 2.4.x then just installing openmotif with Synaptic may be wise choice.

In the version 2.2 of OpenMotif have a clipboard incompatibility using Gnome. It was resolved using the version 2.3
