Font patch for OpenJDK

Asked by Saurabh Rawat

Hi guys,

I came across a patched openJDK which makes java use native font styles. I have been using this in ubuntu 12.04, 13.04 and 13.10 and it works absolutely fine. Is there some plan to introduce this by default in ubuntu 14.04?

It would be a great feature for Java folks using Ubuntu.

I am using this ppa : https://launchpad.net/~no1wantdthisname/+archive/openjdk-fontfix

Regards,

Saurabh Rawat

I suggest you report a bug. It may get the official package updated.
