Java source files are nor recognized automatically in Eclipse

Asked by Jacob

The package "openjdk-7-source" has a file "/usr/lib/jvm/java-7-openjdk-i386/src.zip". On my 64-bit (13.10) system Eclipse doesn't recognize the path and links to the source-file in src.zip automatically. I can remember that with openjdk-6-source it all worked well without setting the source path manually. Probably the problem appears because the path of this arch-independent package includes "i386" or is not set correctly?

I recently recognized that there is a difference in "penjdk-7-source in saucy-updates"->"/usr/lib/jvm/java-7-openjdk-i386/src.zip" and "openjdk-7-source in saucy"->"/usr/lib/jvm/java-7-openjdk-common/src.zip"...
