Backport openipmi 2.0.18-0ubuntu3 to Maverick/Lucid (10.10/10.04LTS)

Would it be possible to backport 2.0.18-0ubuntu3 to Maverick/Lucid (10.10/10.04LTS)? The bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/473332 pretty much caused openipmi not to run without manually making the changes. Since 10.04LTS is what people like me are using in their servers, it would be nice to have this release of openipmi available.
