Hi,
as there are important bugfixes and security fixes in OpenConnect version 8.0.5, can you please update to that version?

I suggest thát you create a bug report.
You have to be aware that Ubuntu is taking over packages from Debian (to avoid double packaging work), and Debian also does not yet have version 8.05. So it is recommended to create a similar bug report also in Debian's bug tracker.

There is now one small problem:
The bug report that you have created is marked "private" and only a limited number of people has access to it.
I do not know whether the persons who have to do the work for the new release are among them.
If there is no personal data or other information that is worth being kept secret in the bug report, then you should set it to "public".
