Touchscreen trackpoint mouse emulator pad in onboard

Asked by Lukasz Sczygiel

Hello.
I am currently playing with pinephone running mate. I use onboard and its really good. Buy it lacks one of the fetaures I used with other mobile device (netwalker).

Netwalker allows to use mouse emulation through an optical device working more or less as trackball. So you would move your finger over a sensor and the cursor would follow the movement on screen.
On netwalker the two mouse buttons are operated by other hand.

Im wondering if it would be possible to extend the onboard with such pad. This way user could tap the screen directly and then move the cursor with fine precision on this pad.
I am offering the testing of this feature.

I suggest you report a bug. The device is very new and not mature yet.

Can you help with this problem?
