Modifier keys with multi-touch

Asked by Andreas E.

When I do a key combination (like shift+a or ctrl+s), I need to do it consecutively.
Suppose I put finger 1 on "ctrl", then finger 2 on "s" (already before releasing finger 1) and then release both. The first/single touch is recognized but the (added) second touch does not yet trigger the "s". The ctrl key stays in highlighted mode and waits for another separate input of "s".

The overlapping workflow feels natural when coming from a physical keyboard (for two hands) where as the consecutive workflow is known from (small) mobile devices that can often be used with one hand.

Is there a setting that I might not have enabled? Or would it be possible to support multi-touch inputs?

I suggest you report a bug. Have you tried other onscreen keyboards?

Can you help with this problem?
