How to personalize onboard onscreen keyboard

Asked by ranjanrao

I want to use onboard onscreen keyboard for one of my project. But I want to customize this. For example I dont want to preference key's and I don't want numbers in it. How can I customize the onboard keyboard.

Also If I use onboard onscreen keyboard ver 0.97, I am not able to set the X and Y position for the keyboard. I assigned the value in /usr/share/onboard/onboard-defaults.conf, but it is not taking effect. How I can set the X and Y position?

Please suggest the answer. I want to solve this issue ASAP because my project is on hold because of the above issue.

Thanks,

Seems that gok can be changed via xml

Not sure how far the xml will take you but worth a try.

I want to set the X and Y position for onboard keyboard. How I can set it?

I tried to assign a value in /usr/share/onboard/onboard-defaults.conf file but it is not taking effect.

How I can tell the onboard to pop in a specifica location in screen?
