hmmm, sorry I'm brand new in this. I want to now how , can I asign an a value like to an"X" or a "Y"? e.g (x=23.5). Did you get my point? Thanks!

Hi Joaquin,

You may want to look at using scilab, which has a graphical interface, and is a bit easier to use. It is very similar to both octave and matlab, in terms of syntax.
