Natty: Update to 275.09.07?

Asked by luxifer

I just wanted to know when to expect the natty package of the nvidia drivers being updated to the latest stable release version 275.09.07. That is because the 270 stable version had a horrible bug that caused X to freeze or to be flooded with pixel artifacts in certain, not uncommon, scenarios (eg. using konsole or resizing windows in kde and such) but I'm sure that you're already aware of this.

I'm currently sitting on a pile of machines that I want to get to my end-users with Ubuntu Natty installed on them. You might understand why I would prefer an official package instead of some ppa stuff.

Regards

A natty package of 275.09.04 is available in https://launchpad.net/~philip5/+archive/extra and
a natty package of 275.09.07 is available in https://launchpad.net/~xorg-edgers/+archive/ppa

I know that this does not answer the question when there will be a package available in the official repositories, but it is at least first step.

Thank you. I'm aware of this ppa and am using it currently... I just hope I got my apt pinning right, so it will get updated as soon as the official package gets an update :)

Can you help with this problem?
