Please don't post in all caps. It's harder to read and looks like you are shouting, so DON'T.

Which experimental driver do you mean?

If you are having issues in Natty then log a bug. Natty is NOT stable and NOT ready. If you want an OS that works then use Maverick. If you want a half working OS and are happy to suffer glitchyness and log bug bugs to help make the OS better then by all means use Natty but expect a LOT of issues

i installed ubuntu 11.04 beta just to try it...i had 3 crashes till now and logged all the bugs...first i installed it and then i went to additional drivers...after that i saw 2 drivers ..1.nvidia driver(version current)[recommended] 2.experimental 3d support for nvidia cards...if i install the first driver i get a flickering screen witch i think isn't good...and i removed it and installed the second driver experimental..it doesn't say witch version is...now i'm using ubuntu 11.04 because it's faster and on 10.10 firefox 4 doesn't work well...in maverick i get the same flickering if i install the current driver...i always installed 173 nvidia driver witch is an older version of nvidia driver...the last driver of nvidia si 256 i think...i think that now you understand what i'am saying...i wish you could further give this issue maybe it will be fixed on this new version...that's all and thank you for the prompt answer...

ok run:

sudo dpkg -P nvidia-173; sudo apt-get --purge autoremove

And it will remove the old config for the package, you can now run:

sudo apt-get install nvidia-current

And install the latest driver.

sudo nvidia-xconfig
[sudo] password for dreamachine:

Using X configuration file: "/etc/X11/xorg.conf".

VALIDATION ERROR: Data incomplete in file /etc/X11/xorg.conf.
Undefined Device "(null)" referenced by Screen "Default
                  Screen".

Backed up file '/etc/X11/xorg.conf' as '/etc/X11/xorg.conf.backup'
New X configuration file written to '/etc/X11/xorg.conf'

why do i get this validation error?

Because Ubuntu doesn't ship with an xorg.conf by default but if one exists it will be obeyed. The file has now being created. If you reboot you may see an improvement. If you get no desktop then reboot and hold SHIFT, then select recovery mode, then select root. You can now run:

mv /etc/X11/xorg.conf /etc/X11/xorg.conf_old; reboot

Note the X in 'X11' is capitalized, Linux is very case sensitive
