Latest nvidia driver not available automatically through additional drivers

Asked by Efthimios Chaskaris

For example, latest version available through ubuntu is 390, but 418 is available in the nvidia website. Why is that? I have a gtx 650 (I know) Thanks.

NVidia driver versions 410 and 418 are already packaged for Ubuntu 19.04 (to be published later this month).

There are PPAs with that version also for older Ubuntu releases, e.g. https://launchpad.net/~graphics-drivers/+archive/ubuntu/ppa
