Converting to a question since this is already a known issue and there's nothing Ubuntu can do to fix problems with closed source code.

Nvidia 304.x is not going to work with Ubuntu 18.04.5, because it uses newer kernel an Xserver than what 304 supports.
If the open-source nouveau driver does not work for you, and you absolutely need Nvidia 304 driver, do a fresh install of Ubuntu 18.04.1 and hack it in: https://adufray.com/blog/2018/06/02/nvidia-304-127-on-bionic

I don't. I will attempt installing it (need to get a working Windows first, sigh), but I cannot see some thing tha might be associated with sound after 1.11, except it is in "Add new Endless route for Elinux OS.", whatever meaning. https://similarpng.com/hand-drawn-gold-crown-clipart-png/

Can you help with this problem?
