Cuda runtime package?

There's a CUDA developer's toolkit, but a subset of it needs to be deployed as a run-time package. Why do I have to install everything if I'm not actually developing, just running CUDA code?

You do not have to install everything just to run CUDA code.

Look at the package starpu-contrib-examples[1], the only CUDA packages it depends on are libcublas5.5 and libcudart5.5.
