nuget package

nuget package version is very late. Any update planned?

The version available for the nuget package is very old/late (2.8.7). Is there any plan to update to the current one (3.5.0) ?

If you report a bug stating the bug and security fixes in the newer version it may be updated sooner rather than later.

You may also find a PPA for it here on Launchpad.net

Ubuntu is not a rolling release distribution so packages are not updated just because a new version is released. Versions of software in Ubuntu is left if the gains in a newer version are slim. Packages with issues or greater impact are updated first.
