Why not use pool.ntp.org?

Why ntpd does not use pool.ntp.org by default? This could be much better than using single server supplied by Canonical.

I think that Canonical want be sure the ntp are servers are always available, however you can submit your proposal to https://brainstorm.ubuntu.com/
