nova live snapshot (snapshot the memory and processor state)

I want to take live snapshot of VM(including RAM and CPU flags) and want to use same snapshot for launching new instance quickly. (just to reduce boot time)
I came across this blueprint.

I just want to know whether this is implemented.

I tried using "nova image-create" for taking live snapshot. But, i don't see much change in boot time.
