Why is the official version of nginx in Ubuntu a development release?

Asked by Zee Alexander

I'd love to hear the maintainer's reasoning for this.

Then open a bug . I don't think that maintainer will read this question.

Launchpad's answer tracker is a forum like (place) that volunteers and users help each other and solve problems about Ubuntu - packages - programs - etc..

You need either to find and communicate with the maintainer or report a bug , but be more specific of what you want , what is your query.

Thanks

This question is irrelevant now - the version in Ubuntu is now the stable branch since nginx went back to that in Debian as their branch that they use.

Can you help with this problem?
