TLS Option

Asked by Denis Klimek

Dear Maintainers of Nfacctd,

since some versions Nfacctd got the capability to receive encrypted UDP flow stream (DTLS) i.e. DE-CIX Internet Exchange in Frankfurt is sending their flows with that method. To decrypt the encrypted flow the Nfacctd must be compiled using "--enable-gnutls"-Flag which isn't the case for the current version of package available on Ubuntu Launchpad.

Might it be possible to update the current package to a version with TLS support?

Best Regards,
Denis Klimek

Ubuntu copies its packaging from Debian.
You could make a bug report as a "Feature Request"
to change the package to support TLS.
This would have to be accomplished through Debian or Netfilter .
