Tried to install update or uninstall and get error code 2503 ad 2502 cannot unintall

trying to update or uninstall calibre and keep getting error cod 2503 and 2502
the installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. the error code is 2503. I click ok and same message with error code 2502. Help how do I fix won''t uninstall, repair or change. or update.

Please provide the output that you receive for the following commands (to be executed in a terminal window):

uname -a
lsb_release -crid
sudo apt update
sudo dpkg --audit
sudo dpkg --configure -a
sudo apt install -f

How did you install calibre? Did you use the version that is provided in the Ubuntu repositories, or did you download the package from somewhere else?

 I downloaded from Calibre site.  I clicked up update and it took me to website
installed 64 bit update

Do you have a problem with network management in Ubuntu, or do you have a problem with calibre?
If you are running Windows, why do you post this question in "Ubuntu network-manager"?
