No wireless connection ubuntu 16.04

Asked by Tariq

I've recently decided to start using and installed ubuntu 16.04. There is wired connection to internet but no wireless so I digged alot at the internet and wasn't useful. My device is lenovo g510 ideapad ; my wireless chip is Broadcom Corporation BCM43142 802.11b/g/n [14e4:4365] (rev 01)
I assume the driver isn't working as well or isn't there at all but don't know the right way to fix the problem.
any useful help please ?

Thanks, I got Error when sudo apt-get --reinstall install bcmwl-kernel-source . The message says:

wl:

 - Installation
   - Installing to /lib/modules/4.4.0-34-generic/updates/dkms/

depmod....

DKMS: install completed.
modprobe: ERROR: could not insert 'wl': Required key not available
update-initramfs: deferring update (trigger activated)

Processing triggers for initramfs-tools (0.122ubuntu8.1) ...
update-initramfs: Generating /boot/initrd.img-4.4.0-34-generic

So I cant continue with sudo modprobe wl becuase I get the same message:
modprobe: ERROR: could not insert 'wl': Required key not available

How this can be fixed, do I need the key or do somthing else ?
thanks again

Disable secure boot in BIOS or you can search for info on using mokutil
