Unable to download mails

Asked by Moiz

Hi ,

I'm having this rare kind of problem with my mails. We have 3 different domains where we receive mails on but this prob is only with one domain.when i or any other users in my office trying to download mails through Eudora,OE or any other application it shows downloading 1of 2 mails it complete the task 100% and then it gives this error

"Task 'webmail.domain.com - Receiving' reported error (0x8004210A) : 'The operation timed out waiting for a response from the receiving (POP) server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'"

But i dont have this problem through out the day it works sometime and download the mails and again it stop working.

But at the same time i'm able to download mails without any error for my other 2 domains.

Well i tried nslookup for MX record, then ping to mail server, tracert etc it all worked fine.I'm able to get through all this but unable to download mails. there is no connection breakup i'm having 2Mbps internet leased line (T1).i also tried with different DNS but no luck.

But the same thing work if i try with Global Static IP.it downloads all the mails without any error.
can anyone please help me on this issue.I'll be very gratefull to him.

Thanking in advance.

Moiz,

Are you able to send mail with the domain or the problem is with the reception only?
