Google searches do not find many references to this modem however this appears to be from someone who may have solved the issue or is working on it:
http://forum.projanmo.com/topic29804.html
I can't read it, so I don't know how much progress has been made.

You could also contact your service provider and ask if they have a solution for you.

Alternately you could see if you can get one of these devices:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huawei_E220
or a similar Huawei modem. You can then use your banglaion SIM in the new device.

Yes, They have solved the problem. The instructions are there in their website. I have used the same modem already in ubuntu 11.04, Ubuntu 11.10 and Linux Mint Katya. Not tested on Linux Mint Lisa(12). But it should work fine. The driver is precompiled binary on the default linux kernel version. so if you update your kernel or usb_modswitch packages, The driver may not work.
