Comment 38 for bug 908380

There's a bit of work that can be done at the NetworkManager level to avoid crashing when this kind of issue happen, so I've filed the task for this now; and there's a package I just uploaded to the ~ubuntu-desktop PPA: network-manager 0.9.3.995+git201203081848.bba834f-0ubuntu1~mtrudel2; which fixes the crashes (but we still need the capabilities fixed at the driver level for encrypted networks to show properly. Any help with testing this fix and the new package will be very welcome :)
