New release!! OMG

This sounds crazy I know but nethack just released a new version after 12 years, would it be possible to update the ubuntu package? I tried compiling myself but I am too much of a noob! Thanks!

I suggest you report a bug. If the bug and security fixes are significant then it will be updated sooner
