Dell inspiron mini 1011 - caps lock status - on or off? It's difficult to judge.

Using the dell mini 1011 with Ubuntu 10.1 netbook remix, it is difficult to judge the status of the caps lock button. There is no light on the netbook and nothing pops up on the screen. The only way to judge if you have upper or lower case in Firefox is by typing into the search box. Is there a fix?

Thanks for the help actionparsnip. I guess this solves the problem, but I am reluctant to use unofficial Ubuntu repositories. I would have thought a caps lock indicator is a must for a netbook user; I certainly would find it useful. I hope one is BunDleD in The NeXT rELEASE !!!111.

Using 3rd partys is ok, it's a great way to get newer versions of apps as well as stuff not in the official repos. It's good to be wary though.
