Any idea of when Netbeans 6.8 will be in the repository?

Asked by Marcelo Ruiz on 2009-12-21

I just would like to know if you have any idea of when NB 6.8 will be in the repository... I don't know if I should wait for that to happen (it's my preferred way of installing software in Ubuntu), or just go ahead and download it from Netbeans.

Hi! that depends on the MOTUs but I believe that unless something very odd happens you'll have to wait until Lucid to find Netbeans 6.8 on the official repos. As a matter of fact in you'll see that the netbeans packages aren't updated yet.
Anyway you can still install it from the official package.

Hope it helps.
