When will you update to 8.2?

Not much more to say really, when will you update to 8.2 and is it gonna take so long that I should download and install 8.2 myself?

Ubuntu is no rolling release. Program updates may lag behind.
If you create a bug report and list the improvements and/or bug fixes with the new release, then it might be updated earlier.
