Secondary selection (middle mouse button) not possible

Asked by sandwichx

Hello!
Since the update from Ubuntu 10.04 to 12.04 the secondary selection (with the middle mouse button) does not work any longer.
No underlining (of the "selected" part) appears as it did before, nothing happens.
Copying or pasting a primary selection (done with the left mouse button) with the middle mouse button still works.
Thanks!

Copy/pasting in nedit (via lesstif) is a mess. Probably you have a clipboard manager running that intervenes. Maybe you now have an other one than you had in 10.04. Try to disable the clipboard manager for nedit actions.

If you look in the bug history of nedit and lesstif, you see a lot of bugs due to sub-optimal copy/paste implentation in lesstif.

Indeed, this should have been a bug report.

Can you help with this problem?
