Installing Netgear N150 adapter to Ubuntu 12.04 LTE

Asked by Poe Caffero

Hello. I recently recieved a computer a friend of mine. It is on Ubuntu 12.04 LTE With Kernal version 3.5.0 I have no way to reach an ethernet cable to this computer. (Mind you I'm cureently on my other computer running windows) i put ndisgtk_0,.8.5-1_i386.deb on it with a flash drive and input apt-get-s install ndisgtk and it said it was unable to locate it. Could someone just give me a quick guide to getting ndisgtk on ubuntu without internet. Mind you I'm not too experienced yet. This is a learning experience for me. Thanks much in advance. :)
