Error opening terminal: xterm-st

Asked by David Robert Lewis

There seems to be some conflict on my system. NCDU was functioning perfectly fine. I then installed the stterm and now its kicking up the following error: Error opening terminal: xterm-st
Aliasing xterm-st to stterm opens stterm but doesn't make the error disapper. If I open stterm and run ncdu I get
Error opening terminal: st-256color

Any advice here?

Gosh, feeling rather foolish, thought I had that in my bashrc, it was the uncommon error message which got me, and I failed to check. thanks.

Hi there, it sounds like you might be experiencing a conflict between the terminals on your system. Have you tried checking if the necessary packages are installed? Additionally, you could try uninstalling both terminals and then reinstalling them to see if that resolves the issue. You may also want to reach out to the Bloom PK community for further assistance. Good luck!
