Click on home folder and it opens movie player

I'm using 8.10, every time I try to click on my home folder or any book marks my movie player opens up, I don't know what to do cause I can't open any folder to see what I can do.

~/.local/share/applications/defaults.list
~/.local/share/applications/mimeinfo.cache
~/.local/share/applications/mimeapps.list

I would also like to add that I only have mimeinfo.cache in that applications folder, could not find defaults.list or mimeapps.list. hope its helps

Try this:
Alt+F2
run
nautilus

then try the workaround:
Right click on a folder in nautilus -> Open with app -> File Manager
