How can I get Nautilus's "Extract here" back?

Asked by Amr Hassan

This is really embarrassing, but a while ago I fiddled a lot with nautilus-related packages and deleted a good deal of gconf files trying to fix a silly corrupted gvfs-metadata problem (i didn't know that that was the cause then), and since then I lost my handy "Extract here" menu item with compressed files and I can't seem to be able to bring it back as I don't know how did I disable it.

Can anyone help me re-enable/install it back or something?

Is the package file-roller installed? This seems to provide libnautilus-fileroller.so as extension to Nautilus and probably (judging from the string contained) is the one responsible for "Extract here" in the context menu.

The package was installed, but the file libnautilus-fileroller.so was messing. Reinstalling file-roller fixed it.

Thanks for your help.
