installing yahoo messenger

im trying to install gtkhtml-08/install (yahoo messenger) ive got the generic installation instuctions but doesnt seem like anything is happening? any suggestions. green

There is no Yahoo messenger for Ubuntu AFAIK.

Hi!

Could you please open a separate ticket for the BIOS issue? It just helps us keep track of tickets that have been answered and tickets that haven't :-)

We don't have to install the Messenger.
In stead, use this web version.
Save it in Favorites, so we can use it on daily basis.

Hello everyone, my name is Angie.

Well I do use webmessenger but there is no voice and webcam option. Can someone tell me how it works so that I can use voice and cam in webmessenger please. I do use empathy but again I don't see voice and webcam option. Since we can't install yahoo messenger in ubuntu... please help me. Thanks

Well guys it is not an answer I must of made a mistake about using webmessenger yes I do use this but I am asking for help for voice and cam option to use in empathy messenger and yahoo web messenger. Can someone help me please.
