How do I add additional HDD

Asked by Jimbo

I have added a SCI controller and two HDDs. I can see both HDD's in the SCSI card set up. One of the HDDs previously had been in a windows system. When I load and run Ubuntu, boot off of a seperate IDE HDD, I can see the previously use SCSI HDD but I can not see the other SCSI HDD. What Utility do I use to have ubuntu recognize the HDD and format it?

Thank you,
Jimbo

They are named a little differently; believe in Linux the first one is always hda and the second hard drive is usually hdb. Also, since it isn't the drive your OS is on, you may have to mount it to use it.

Can you help with this problem?
