cannot find other two sata hard disks using Natilus

Hope someone can help ! I'm new to Ubuntu and so am unsure about using it.

I just recently installed Ubuntu 6.10 Nautilus on my Athlon 64 kv8 Delux.

I installed 6.10 on an 8 gig IDE drive.I am unable to see my other two hard disks they are: the first is a 30 gig sata and the second is a 250 gig sata 2.

All drives are NTFS

I can see all three drives in my BIOS and when I type sudo fdisk -l

Hi. Thanks fro the help. I actually got one drive for NTFS to see my drives. However now one of my drives (the 34 gig) is seen as a folder instead of a hard disk anyone know why this might be?

In unix the filesystem is like a three that start from the root (this is the symbol "/") ,so your hard drive, which is seen as another little filesystem, is plugged into the big one as a folder. The folder is the mount point and you can change it if you wish.
In windows on the other hand, in the "resources of the computer" you find the devices as letters and even if the icons are different they are still directory :)
