If you are trying to install java do the following.

Try this from the terminal>>>Application>>>under accessories>>> find the terminal. and copy and paste this command in the terminal. sudo apt-get install sun-java6-jre sun-java6-plugin
This should do it.

Hope this helps

When I click to Terminal mode, the following appears.

artlim66@artlim66-desktop:~$

I proceed to issue the command as per your recommendation. All Java related files are all created in the artlim66 directory instead of the /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins

I tried to copy the files over in the file brower modes, but Ubuntu system do not allow the files copy.

Look forwards to your guidance, Master.
