unable to view desktop icon in gnome...

unable to view desktop icons on linux... Gnome Desktop..

Nothing happened when I right-click on desktop..(no menu..) everything else its ok...

hope someone can help me..

Open a terminal (Applications > Accessories > Terminal) and type in:

nautilus

Then copy and paste any output that is thrown up and post it here.

Then run this command:

gconftool-2 -g /apps/nautilus/preferences/show_desktop

And copy and paste it's output here.
