Unlock folders in Ubuntu Hardy 8.04

Asked by Gael33

I have installed a couple of windows programs (Bookshelf95 & Office 2003) through Wine and neither work well. I have decided to uninstall them both ... Wine can't do it (reason unknown), and the relevant folders are locked and cannot be sent to the 'trash bin'. Nether of these programs show in 'Add/Remove. Is there a method to remove these folders or are they on my system for good?

Gael.

this will start nautilus in root mode

and then manually remove those files
