hard drive

i have two hard drives a external 160gb and a 13gb one, i installed ubuntu onto the 160gb one and i had a bunch of other stuff on it and now when i try to acces it through windows it doenst read it and on ubuntu it wont load anything from it, what happenned.

Hi Jameswasx,

Before installing Ubuntu on your harddrive 160gb did you format your harddrive ? What type of file system is it ?
Did you use any Thirdparty tool like Partition magic ?
