La mia intenzione è entrare in un hard drive con ubuntu linux messo su CD. Ma il computer appena tento di entrare nel HD mi respinde dicendo: "Cannot Mount Volume". Prima di linux usavo Windows media center 2005 edition, poi mi si è rotto un HD.
P.S: Io avevo 2 Hd da 200Gb tutti e 2 di marca Seagate.

Devi sincerarti che l'hard-disk che vuoi montare sia esente da errori ovvero forza un controllo del disco da Windows.
Riavvia per due volte il pc partendo con Windows.
Poi riprova ad usare il live-cd di Ubuntu per accedere a tale disco.

Fra i parametri del comando "ntfsmount" per l' hard disk che suppongo abbia un filesystrem NTFS ci sono opzioni per montare un disco anche quando questo e' in stato di errore ma non è consigliabile attivarli.
