My Slave drive does not show up on the computer browser.

I have a 60 GB Master Hard drive and 300 GB Slave HD. After I loaded Ubuntu I cannot see my 300 GB HD on the computer browser. However when I go to device manager it shows up. How can I gain access to my 300 GB HD?

have you checked the output of "dmesg" for your hard drive?

if you can find it you can try "sudo fdisk /dev/hdb" (where the /dev/hdb part should be given in the dmesg output) to see the partitions on the hard disk. What file systems do you have on it? can you post the partition table (if possible)?
