system-start with floppy

Asked by Klaus M. S.

Hallo !
Answers in german i will understand better.
I got a book-pc with windows 2000, secured by a password.
I want to install another os - it should be ubuntu!
But I can't change the start-sequence in BIOS to CD-ROM > all changes are set back on default, because the "processor was changed".
What I want to try, is to get a floppy (in german: Notfall-Diskette) for system-start, because that would be accepted > if even possible, a floppy out of the ubuntu-system.

Please help me soon.

Thank you,

Klaus
