How do I watch my home dvd movie on my computer in Ubuntu?

I purchase a movie from walmart and trying to watch it on my Dell Laptop 32bit, using Ubuntu and it wont launch at all. Any suggestion? on windows i usually use windows media player.

I don't see how naming an application you use in Windows is of any value to your question. Ubuntu is not Windows.

As long as you have the DVD library installed you can use any player you can install.
