Use your UBUNTU SOFTWARE CENTER. Search 'Cheese Webcam Booth'. Download it. This application will help to use your Webcam. This is the same thing given in #1

Didn't you find CHEESE WEBCAM BOOTH in your Ubuntu Software Center?

If you can't use your downloaded application: CHEESE WEBCAM BOOTH, please do what is mentioned in #3

If you press the 3 keys --- CTRL+ALT+T simultaneously, you will be able to open the Terminal. Copy & Paste the following line in that Terminal

sudo fdisk -l; uname -a; mount; lsb_release -a

Hit the ENTER Key. Type your password if [sudo] password is asked. Nothing will appear when you type your password. Then hit the ENTER Key. You will get an output. Copy & Paste the output in the Message box below.

The 3300 is not a web cam, it is point and shoot camera. Charles have you installed programs like Shotwell Photo Manager, or F-Spot Photo Manager? I have never used the camera to computer connection. I use a card reader. I believe it should work the same. The manual with the camera was probably written for Windows, but it make sure the hookup is correct.

I had connected camera to computer and with a card reader also. But not fugi's. If it is not a web cam. You needen't dowload 'Cheese'. I suggest Michael's opinion. You will be able to open the correct folder and view your photos.
