Media software does not run on Ubuntu

Hi I just bought a media plug usb Cassette conversion to burn CD's known as Cassette2usb converter. The software wizard will not run....the "setup"

Error: /home/user/Desktop/setup.exe: Can not open file as archive

Errors: 1

Is there a fix???

Windows software does not run on Linux including Ubuntu Linux. There is the windows emulator wine which can run some software and there is the option to run windows in a virtual machine, but that is not trivial to configure for normal users, especially if you want to access USB devices.

Just to know what kind of device you bought:
Please connect it, open the Terminal application, type "lsusb", hit Enter and copy the full output for us. Thanks!
