Gnome 3.5 in ubuntu 12.04 not working

just installed gnome 3.5 in ubuntu 12.04 but when try to loaded it just get a desktop with bars top and bottom nothing like the screen shots of the installed desktop no icons have tryed different logs ins etc gnome classic etc

hiya yes tryed all the logins ,just got blue wallpaper top bar with applications and places top left and volume wifi off/on top right and bottom bar showing different workspaces

If you make a fresh Ubuntu user and log in to the system as it is it the same?

If you press CTRL + ALT + T and run:

sudo lshw -C display

Type your password (you won't see any feedback as you type).

What is the output?

tryed to boot the pc today to give you the info but ubuntu not loading just sits at the splash screen with word ubuntu and the five lit up dots .do the recovery mode no change

hiya just thought let you have sorted out the gnome problem and pc problem turned to be the graphics driver uninstall and reinstall now works great thanks for help
