dificulty:Unbuntu,to big for screen,cannot access buttons

New to Unbunto:not yet familiar,on the how to for navigation,aparently there is a button on the far right,that enables interface size,
unable to acess it with cursor,can not see it.. Do not know how to,shut down. Yow !!!

We want more info to help.

Open a terminal (CTRL+ALT+T) and copy-paste the commands below , one by one

lsb_release -rcd ; uname -r
lspci -nnk | grep -iA2 vga
xrandr
/usr/lib/nux/unity_support_test -p

Again copy-paste the FULL results back here to an answer.

  Thank you for quick response. Emailed a knowledgeable, computer person. Managed to extricate from Ubuntu.
Apprehensive about going back in, at this time frame. In the Future,will try again.

  Windows, now has the same problem,the desktop, the buttons & icons,are outside of the frame,with Windows,
have the windows key,that brings up the start menu,part of it. Can close.

See if you can fix that from TV menu.

My TV has an option in menu : "Single Scan" (or something like this) ..

"Play" with "Screen Options".
