i just installed a new dvd burner and i need help installing the nero 7 software that came with it

i just installed a new dvd burner and i would like to install the nero 7 esentials software that came with it. i can't seem to figure it out. and i can't figure out how to download new codecs for any of the new movies that it will not let me play.
