Feel free to purge firefox.
Please open a terminal: ctrl+alt+t
sudo apt-get purge firefox
sudo apt-get autoremove

To locate firefox* mozilla* references update the database:
sudo updatedb
locate firefox* | less
locate mozilla* | less
